I love working in the studio with producer Phil Madeira, because it’s always all about the song, the creativity & the collaboration & that’s why I play music. ~ Will Kimbrough, Nashville

Phil Madeira has produced numerous artists in his illustrious career, including Emmylou Harris, The Civil Wars, Mat Kearney, David Crowder, The Wood Brothers, The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Rodney Crowell, and Shawn Mullins.  However, quite a few of the artists Phil works with are independent, unsigned, and often unheard artists.

While we, in no way, can guarantee success for aspiring artists or hobbyists who’ve got the itch to record, we can promise that we will try to make a record that you will be proud of!

Phil records with the best musicians in the world, and your project will be treated with the same care that a major artist’s project will receive.  We love making music.

As an accomplished songwriter, Phil is all about what the song needs. It’s always a joy to be in the studio with Phil at the helm. ~ Steve Hindalong of The Choir, Lost Dogs, and The Ascendants

Working with Phil is a lot of fun.  He comes up with great parts on the fly and is handy on all keyboards, stringed instruments, and drums, if needed.  He is also one of the best songwriters on the planet so he knows how to interpret and serve the song well.  And, if you like music biz stories, he's got a busload.  Highly recommended. ~ Michael Roe of The 77s and Lost Dogs, Sacramento

There is nothing one-dimensional about working with Phil Madeira. Phil brings depth and breadth, from instrumentation, a songwriter’s perspective to a rich tapestry of influences and collaborators, the songs become something more than the sum of the parts. ~ Pete Kronowitt, San Francisco

Phil Madeira is able to find the beauty in my music and writing, with passion, creativity, and attention to detail. He stays focused on the story I’m trying to tell. I’m also appreciative of the way he communicates and present new ideas I never considered. - Michael Parris, North Carolina

Phil Madeira strikes the perfect balance between letting the magic happen in the studio and gently guiding the magic when necessary. A perfect blend of hands on/hands off production that keeps me coming back to him. ~ Peter Rogan, Pennsylvania

Phil Madeira has been my “go-to” Nashville record producer ever since 2017, when he brought both his “A-Game” and a stellar cadre of A-List musicians to record my very first full-length album, “This Side of the Dirt,” which ranked #6 on the Roots Music Outlaw Country Chart for the year following the album’s release. Phil’s awesome production chops undoubtedly played a significant role in that success. Over the ensuing years, Phil has produced fantastic tracks for me in a variety of genres, including Country, Americana, Folk, Rock, and Celtic. Definitely my “go-to” Nashville producer! ~ Robert Dale Klein - Austin, TX

Phil Madeira is a truly amazing producer, who brings insight, road-tested skill, relevant expertise, patience, coaching, and a collaborative mindset vital in helping us achieve our vision and ultimately bringing our songs to life. ~ Michael Cockrell of Three Exits To Memphis - Washington, DC

Phil always walks into the studio with his pockets full of creative musical ideas along with the maturity to know which pocket to draw from…and the result is good music. ~ Dan Haseltine of Jars Of Clay, music producer for “The Chosen” and “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” - Nashville

Phil has the ability to hear the intent of what a song wants to be. He knows how to achieve that end while allowing the artist voice and ideas to shine through. The outcome for me has been exactly what I had intended, only better. ~ Jefferson Carson, Austin, TX

Budgeting for a recording is flexible and dependent on the kind of record an artist wishes to make. Once the budget is agreed upon, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required, in order to commit to a specified recording schedule. Should the artist cancel before 30 days of the scheduled recording, the deposit will be returned in full. If the cancellation happens within 30 days, the deposit is forfeited, although should the artist reschedule, the deposit will be re-applied to artists’ budget.
